Outpatient Drug & Alcohol Treatment
Samba Recovery’s Outpatient Program (OP)
Samba Recovery provides outpatient addiction treatment services in two Georgia locations. Our first outpatient rehab center is located in the metro Atlanta area and out second is located in Savannah.
Depending on where you are in your quest for sobriety, our outpatient addiction treatment is a place to start or continue substance use treatment. For example, some people experiencing substance abuse recognize the signs early enough to get help before full-blown addiction sets in. Our Outpatient Program (OP) is a level of care that provides ongoing therapy and support for individuals managing addiction and mental health challenges. It is designed for individuals who may have completed a higher level of care, such as Partial Hospitalization (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), or for those who require regular therapy sessions to maintain their mental well-being.
Flexible Outpatient for your Busy Life
There are many benefits to inpatient care, and for some, it’s the best first step to take in treatment. However, outpatient care offers unique advantages that make it the best choice for others. Outpatient care is:
- Often more affordable than inpatient treatment
- Less disruptive to your life, so you can continue working or going to school while in treatment
- Flexible, so you can create a schedule that works for you
- A good step down from more intensive levels of care, as it allows you to gradually transition back to everyday life
Samba Recovery’s outpatient program is designed to help you build on the progress you made in treatment and continue developing healthy coping skills and relapse prevention strategies.

What is Outpatient Addiction Treatment Like?
In our outpatient center, you’ll attend regular therapy sessions and group meetings. Our outpatient program includes both individual and group therapy. Whether you think you have problem or want to remain productive in your recovery, we got you! Most of our OP patients feel energized by the continued support and motivated to grow even further.
Some of the topics you may discuss in outpatient therapy include:
- Relapse prevention – You’ll learn how to identify your triggers and develop healthy coping strategies to manage them.
- Stress reduction – You’ll explore the connection between stress and substance use and discover healthy ways to cope with stress.
- Communication skills – You’ll learn how to express your needs and boundaries with others.
- Handling conflict – You’ll learn how to resolve conflict without resorting to substance use.
- Family therapy – Restoring torn relationships with loved ones takes time. Continued guidance will only enhance trust and communication.
As you work through these topics in outpatient therapy, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your addiction. You’ll also have the chance to put what you’ve learned into practice in your day-to-day life. During this time, it’s likely that you’ll encounter challenges different from what you may have faced in more intensive levels of care. Our outpatient program is designed to help you navigate these challenges and continue moving forward in your recovery.
