Great program! I've been here for almost 6 months. I'm a graduate of their IOP program and decided to stay on in their sober living apartments for a while longer. Staff is amazing, all facilities including the resident apartments are clean and feature a home-like atmosphere. The accountability they offer by requiring consistent drug screens is something you won't find anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Samba Recovery is more than just amazing it is hope and joy and love and respect and so many other things. If you are out there , alone, wishing for something better, Samba is it. The people who work in their program actually care and it's not superficial, it's real. I have never experienced nor was I expecting what I have received here at Samba. I'm a person who never thought I would make it to the age of twenty so my existence at all here in this earth is nothing short of a miracle. More so than that is the miracle that is Samba and that is not an exaggeration. If you are lost and you are alone I want you to know that you no longer have to accept that as your reality. There is hope, there is love , there is acceptance waiting for you if you choose to accept it at Samba Recovery. I wanna say that my experience with samba is hands down the greatest program by far ...the staff here at samba shows so much love sand and care and support to all your needs they are truly passionate about the clients here and go so far and beyond to assist u in every way i wanna give a very big shout-out to a few people here at samba if I may ...Mrs Lisa .Mrs Jen my therapist ms Peggy Mr Ray ms Valerie...last but not least ms Chloe this entire staff here is awesome and amazing and so much more irs like we all a big happy family here

I had a great experience with outpatient detox at Samba Recovery. The staff was kind, supportive, and easy to talk to from day one. Their detox program let me get medical help while still living at home, which made things much less stressful. I felt safe and cared for the whole time and got through my detox without issues.

This program makes you work for what you want. They may not provide some of the other amenities that some of other programs do but if you want sobriety and are willing to work for it in every aspect then this is the place to be. Great program great staff and I have been sober and working a program and now work for a mental health facility and I'm slowly getting back all that I lost. I give a big thanks to Samba for being a part of what helped me get to where I'm at.

Samba is by far the best treatment center I’ve ever had the privilege of being a part of. This place is truly something special. Every person that works here, from the owner and director all the way through the staff, truly cares. They pour into the clients and are always there to listen, guide, give accountability, and help everyone who is trying to learn how to live sober. They are intelligent, compassionate, live by example, amazing human beings and I’m forever grateful for the support and opportunities this program has given me. If you want recovery, even just a little bit, give it a try, and I promise you won’t be disappointed ☺️

Really love samba its helped me out a tremendous amount. Wouldn't be where i am without the help thats been provided here. gotta give a special shoutout to the staff here expicially chloe and sheperd theyre always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everyone is ok and taken care of and not once have they overlooked any of my needs if they can help they will help and for that im eternally gratefull.

I have been addicted to everything under the sun over the past 24 years. I starting dabbling with substances the night I graduated highs school…just alcohol and weed. I had found my out! When I was treated for a kidney infection and prescribed Vicodin I thought I was in heaven!! I finally found my way to numb the pain and dissociate from everything and just move through life on cruise control, completely ignoring everything I needed to address the underlying pain and trauma that had been affecting me since child hood. Over that first year of using, it quickly progressed to not just weed and alcohol, but also cocaine, ecstasy, MDMA, whippets, GHB amongst other stuff to boost the current highs that I had. I was deep in the throes of addiction, just that fast. I tried to move away. I tried constantly to go to school and focus my attention on something else, but it never lasted. I was stuck and I didn’t know how to get out. I tried so many times to quit on my own for my kids for myself for my family. I wanted to be done but I wasn’t. Now 24 years later, I look back at all the wasted time and it saddens me. This past October I found myself in a very dark place mentally emotionally and even physically as my body showed me, it was about to be the end that it couldn’t take this life anymore. I was so scared. I finally realized I had to get help or else I was gonna die so I went to rehab thinking that was all I would do, but I realized I was terrified when it came time to leave, so I checked into Samba in Savannah for an aftercare program I got here on December 5, 2024. This is my first time in a sober, living environment and doing PCP and capital IOP… I’m currently in IOP and I have a sponsor I go to meetings. I am looking for work and I am actually working a program. I’m actively seeking God to see where I can change And I am so happy and excited for life ahead. It had been so long since I actually was excited about life. That’s a gift!! I am so grateful for Samba and the people here and what this place has done for me in my life. I would recommend it to anyone! I will say, you only get out of this program what you put into it; so if you want an actual change and you’re ready to let go of everything you know and grasp onto everything they teach that can help you make a better life then, I definitely recommend you come here and be a sponge and absorb it all with an open mind . This was the life change that I needed. This place has helped me find my footing in recovery and has giving me the tools I need to be able to live clean and sober. I know now that I have other ways of coping and getting through hard times, or even happy celebratory times, without drinking or drugging. Life can be amazing!. You just have to be willing to unlearn what hasn’t worked and work hard to learn and take suggestions as to what will work! Come willing and openminded! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I can't say enough good things about Samba Recovery. Not only was it a great place to get sober but I’ve also met many great friends here who continue to support me in my recovery journey today.
